PRODUCTION AREA:
The grapes used for the production of this wine come from the best vineyards in Belvedere Ostrense and San Marcello in the province of Ancona.
ALTITUDE:
250 mt. Above sea level.
CULTIVATION OF THE VINE:
Low spurred cordon system on sloping hills, with mainly clay and limy soil.

WINE MAKING:
The perfectly ripen grapes are placed in small boxes, each of which contains 3 kilos, they are kept in a thermo-ventilated room, for about 90 days, where levels of humidity and temperature are constanly checked, in order to prevent deterioration and to garantee a slow and natural drying out. Soft pressing of the dried grapes with stemming and controlled fermentation in a steel vat. About 12-14 days maceration.
AGEING:
No ageing is necessary, only stabilizing in a steel vat for about 8-10 months then ageing in bottle for 6 months.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Intense ruby red colour, with tendency towards sweet violet. Intense perfume which is typical of the Lacrima grapes, with flavours of fruits of the forests, rosehip and spices. Full and elegant flavour, full bodied, that enhances the sense of smell.
ACCOMPANIMENTS:
This is a dessert wine ideal with fruit tarts and biscuits, it is also ideal with vintage cheeses.
IDEAL SERVING TEMPERATURE:
14-16 degrees
PRESERVATION:
It is advisable to keep the bottle in a cool and ventilated place, protecting if from any source of heat and light.
