The grapes used to produce this wine come from the best vineyard in San Marcello in the province of Ancona.

CULTIVATION OF THE VINEYARD:
Low spurred cordon system on sloping hills, with mainly clay and limy soil of medium consistency.
GRAPES PRODUCED PER VINE:
1 - 1,5 Kg. (about)
Soft pressing of the grapes placed in small boxes with stemming, controlled temperature fermentation in steel vats 14-16 days maceration with pressing.
Between 12 and 15 months in small 225 litres french oak barrels, of different origin. The wine finished its ageing in bottles for about one year before being sold.
Full ruby red colour. Fruit aroma; cherry and maraschino cherry, spices such as nutmeg, genepy and rosemary. The highly structured and concentrate flavour leaves a pleasent sweetness of soft and elegant tannin.
Well structured wine, adapts well to main red meat dishes, stews, vintage chesses. When aged well, it is a wine for meditation.
IDEAL SERVING TEMPERATURE:
It is advisable to keep the bottle laid down in a cool and ventilated place, protecting it from any heat or light source from noise and eccessive vibrations.
