PRODUCTION AREA:
The grapes used to produce this wine, come from our best vineyards in San Marcello in the province of Ancona.

VINEYARDS CHARACTERISTICS:
Low spurred cordon system on sloping hills, with mainly clay and limy soil of medium consistency.
GRAPES PRODUCED PER VINE:
1 - 1,5 Kg. (about)
WINE MAKING:
Soft pressing of the grapes placed in small boxes with destemming, controlled temperature fermentation in steel vats, with 14 - 16 days maceration with pressing.
MATURATION:
It matures directly in french oak barrique of 225 litres at least 36 months and subsequent refinement in the bottle for at least 12 months before being put on the market.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:
Intense purple red color.
Scent of red fruit and morello cherry, with tones of cherry jam, sour cherry and black cherry.
Deep sweet in its tannic expression with an enveloping finish.
GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS:
Well structured wine, adapts well to main red meat dishes, stews, vintage chesses.
Long aged, it is a meditation wine.
SERVICE TEMPERATURE:
18 - 20 °C
PRESERVATION:
We recommend keeping the bottle on its side in a cool and ventilated place, protecting it from any source of heat, light and excessive noise and vibrations.
